International Carbon Disclosure Platform for Textile and Apparel
Platform introduction
In October 2023, under the guidance of the Ministry of Commerce, Carbon Newture and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textile and Apparel (CCCT) jointly launched the 'International Carbon Disclosure Platform for Textile and Apparel'. Leveraging digital technology, the platform integrates carbon information in the textile industry, breaks down information silos, supports the green and low-carbon transformation of Chinese textile and apparel enterprises, strengthens collaboration among enterprises, and addresses climate change risks.
Carbon Newture leverages a digital carbon management platform to construct an LCA assessment model for the core yarn products of Shanghai Tiqiao Textile Yarn Dyeing Co., Ltd. We conduct a comprehensive analysis and calculation of the product's carbon emissions from 'cradle to gate' and generate a detailed Carbon Footprint Report. Tiqiao textile can effortlessly comprehend the carbon emissions at each stage of product production, enabling them to optimize processes in high-carbon emission stages and effectively achieve pollution reduction and carbon emission reduction.
Following that, Carbon Newture collaborated with the third-party authoritative organization to issue the carbon footprint certification and the carbon neutral certification. The carbon data information for this certified product was subsequently uploaded to the 'Carbon Newture Consortium Blockchain'（CEW Blockchain）. Additionally, dual carbon information was disclosed through the 'International Carbon Disclosure Platform for Textile and Apparel'.
China Carbon Disclosure Platform for Machinery and Electronics
Platform Introduction
In March 2023, under the guidance of the Ministry of Commerce, Carbon Newture and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Mechanical and Electronic Products jointly launched the 'China Carbon Disclosure Platform for Machinery and Electronics'. This initiative aims to promote dual carbon information compliance disclosure and enhance contract performance among mechanical and electrical enterprises, facilitating the acceleration of low-carbon transformation and green development. Since its launch, the platform has received positive feedback and provided numerous mechanical and electrical enterprises with sustainable development services, including dual-carbon information sharing, carbon emission reduction plans, carbon finance, and so on.
