With support from Carbon Newture, Deli Group partnered with Genki Forest to launch the carbon-neutral product line — the “Deli x Genki Forest Carbon-Neutral Series” — and obtained certification from the authoritative third-party organization SGS.
Light industry and consumer goods industry
Under the backdrop of global climate change and the deepening implementation of China’s carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, green and low-carbon development has become a core driver of high-quality enterprise growth. As a leading player in China’s stationery and creative tech sectors, Deli Group in 2025 fully upgraded its green and low-carbon strategy. Through product innovation, public welfare initiatives, and cross-industry collaboration, Deli partnered with Chi Forest to launch the carbon-neutral product line — the “Deli x Chi Forest Carbon Neutral Series”.
With support from Carbon Newture, Deli successfully obtained product carbon-neutral verification from the internationally recognized third-party authority SGS, ensuring the reliability of the carbon footprint data and the compliance of its carbon neutrality.
Green products are the core carriers of a company’s low-carbon commitment. In 2025, aiming to build a sustainable green supply chain and truly realize green office operations, Deli formed a deep partnership with Chi Forest, a national beverage brand that shares a commitment to environmental values. Leveraging Chi Forest’s extensive experience in packaging recycling and Deli’s expertise in recycled materials and stationery manufacturing, the two launched a carbon-neutral series verified by Carbon Newture and certified by SGS, including items such as gel pens, refillable notebooks, correction tapes, dot glues, and rulers. The products were also showcased at the 2025 Carbon Expo with Carbon Newture, attracting significant consumer attention.
Recycled plastic bottles are transformed into high-quality post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics and used to manufacture stationery products — a process with significant environmental and technical value. For example, each 480ml discarded bottle can be processed into approximately four eco-friendly gel pens. From “bottle” to “pen,” these recycled plastics gain new life, vividly illustrating the “turning waste into treasure” green concept.
To achieve true “zero-carbon” products, Deli ensures carbon neutrality across the full product life cycle — from raw material sourcing and transportation, production, distribution, use, to disposal. PCR recycled plastics are prioritized over virgin materials to significantly reduce reliance on fossil fuels; green electricity usage is maximized during manufacturing to lower product carbon footprints; and unavoidable emissions are offset to achieve full product carbon neutrality. From green production to scientific accounting and authoritative certification, Deli completes a full life-cycle green loop for its carbon-neutral series.
To guarantee consumers’ “zero-carbon awareness,” Deli uploads the full life-cycle carbon data of each product to the public carbon disclosure platform — the. Every carbon-neutral product carries a dedicated QR code, allowing consumers to easily access data on carbon emissions at each life-cycle stage, see how carbon offset projects are implemented, and view the authoritative carbon-neutral verification certificate (downloadable). This ensures carbon data is transparent, traceable, and makes green consumption tangible.
Deli’s cross-industry environmental collaboration with Chi Forest is no coincidence. With younger consumers driving market trends, purchasing decisions increasingly reflect brand values and sustainability, not just functionality. Low-carbon initiatives not only respond to China’s carbon peaking and neutrality goals but also demonstrate Deli’s commitment to environmental, economic, and social responsibility.
From a single carbon-neutral pen to a sustainable development ecosystem, from brand building to social responsibility, Deli is actively translating the concept of “innovation-led sustainable development” into practical action, making “green office” a reality.
In its supply chain — a critical area — Deli employs a comprehensive ESG management system with 74 control points across environmental, social, and governance dimensions as a “green compass.” This covers everything from wastewater treatment at suppliers’ facilities to raw material carbon footprint tracking. On the production floor, Deli identifies supplier strengths and gaps, helping them enhance energy efficiency, develop eco-friendly materials, and strengthen environmental compliance. This “assess + enable” model drives a green transformation of the supply chain from the source, laying a solid foundation for sustainable development.
Deli also converts carbon performance into a shared standard across the supply chain, using scientific assessment and incentive mechanisms to guide suppliers in managing carbon emissions and optimizing their production processes. From raw material suppliers to manufacturers and logistics providers, all stakeholders align on low-carbon development, forming a full-chain green loop that integrates environmental and economic benefits.
As a leading brand in the education and culture sector, Deli understands that green and sustainable development cannot be achieved by a single enterprise. On June 6, 2025, at the 3rd Shanghai International Carbon-Neutral Technology, Products, and Achievements Expo, Deli showcased the “Deli x Chi Forest Carbon Neutral Series” and shared its sustainable innovation models and circular practices with industry peers. Through concrete product cases, Deli made carbon neutrality tangible and promoted the adoption of green innovation across the office sector, providing a practical reference for sustainable industry practices.
Serving the world with products and leading the future with responsibility, Deli integrates its mission of “creating quality products for global users” into a broader green and low-carbon narrative. Through a full-chain green management network, Deli guides upstream and downstream partners on the journey toward low-carbon, circular transformation. This collaboration, combined with the launch of the carbon-neutral series, translates carbon neutrality from a technical metric into a consumer-visible experience and provides a green innovation reference for the creative and consumer goods sectors. Moving forward, Carbon Newture will continue to partner with more enterprises to build a low-carbon, circular industrial ecosystem and contribute professional expertise to global green development.
